Foundation Course for 10th standard students

Program details and objectives:

We all know that now IITs have restricted the number of attempts in IITJEE from Year 2007 . Now the students have just two chances- one with XII and the other immediately in the next year.

More than three lacs students appeared in IITJEE 2008 and every year this number are increasing.

Now, with the increase in competition, keeping in mind that only two chances are available, only the most talented students can succeed in the exam by starting their IIT-JEE training in XI. But, if you do not have an inborn spark that can put you in Top 6000 students in JEE, it is wise to start the training as early as class X to achieve the desired success in IIT-JEE.

This program is designed to cover school syllabus as well as a making foundation strong in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Some of very common queries are:

Which syllabus would be followed in this programme?

We will cover both CBSE and ICSE syllabi.

Are you going to teach for IITJEE from 10th class onwards?

No. We teach only the 10th class syllabus but it in a very detailed manner. We do not follow the motto “Learn for marks..” but we strongly believe in making the student’s foundation strong in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Will the student need extra tutions?

We don’t recommend any other tution for Maths, Physics and Chemistry since this course would be taking care of those subjects.

What is the difference between school teaching and training at Mathiit?

Cant explain it in words .. But we believe in making basic concepts crystal clear. We would be starting off with the very basics and climb to the highest level. Of course, a more convincing answer would be given by any ex-student of Mathiit.

Will the same faculty who use to teach 11th and 12th standard students, teach the 10th standard students?

No. For each course there are “specialists” for the purpose. Actually it is a misconception that it would be the best if the top senior faculty takes care of the students of lower classes like 9th. But it matters a lot that how the teacher starts teaching from the students “ level of understanding..”. Therefore we have provide separate faculty for 10th standard.

Will you cover the topics for Board Exam?

Yes. We will cover Maths, Physics and Chemistry making the student prepared to attend the Board Examination.

Course Highlights:

  • Comprehensive Study Material with additional problems sheets.
  • Work Book for home-work.
  • Performance report can be viewed online through our website (http://www.mathiit.co.in)
  • Regular feedback and test analysis sessions.
  • Special sessions for Vedic Mathematics.
  • 15 mock tests (for class Xth Board Examination) will be conducted in addition to class topic wise tests.
